Toronto is the city that quietly does everything better than it lets on. Canada's largest city is a genuine world metropolis with 200+ nationalities, an absurdly good food scene, neighbourhoods that each feel like their own city, and a waterfront that most visitors never fully explore. This guide skips the CN Tower queue and goes deeper: the underground food halls of Kensington Market, the cocktail bars hidden behind unmarked doors in the Entertainment District, the Korean spas of North York, the art galleries tucked into Victorian warehouses in the Junction, and the islands you reach by a five-minute ferry that make the whole skyline appear behind you like a postcard. Whether you're here for a weekend or a week, Toronto rewards the curious — and this is where to start

EdgeWalk at the CN Tower
format:attraction Rating 4.8 787 reviews The city's defining landmark — observation deck, EdgeWalk, and 360° restaurant above the clouds Highly 4.8-star establishment with 787 reviews. The first step outside hits you like a shock, but the safety setup is solid and everything is run professionally. Huge shoutout to my instructor Mitchell (@stromyspice) — she’s sharp, confident, and knows exactly how to keep people calm without treating anyone like a kid. Her instructions were clear, her vibe was solid, and she made the whole experience way more fun than I expected.
The views are insane, leaning off the edge is the perfect mix of terrifying and addictive, and the whole experience is absolutely worth it. If you want something that actually pushes you instead of another basic tourist activity, this is the one. I'd do it again without thinking twice. This was a once in a lifetime experience, the thrill you get whilst doing the experience and after is amazing. Our guide Rebecca (Domino), was sensational a calming influence who made the activity. It really is the thing to do. If you're looking for a once-in-a-lifetime thrill in Toronto, EdgeWalk at the CN Tower is the ultimate adventure! From the moment we suited up to the final step back inside, the experience was both exhilarating and incredibly well-managed.
Big shoutout to DJ, our amazing guide – honestly, he’s a real-life Spider-Man! 🕷️🕸️ He struck the perfect balance between keeping us safe and encouraging us to push our limits. His energy, confidence, and humor made the whole experience feel both daring and fun. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and it shows!
What really impressed me was the extremely thorough safety process – our gear was checked nearly 10 times by at least 4 different team members before we even stepped outside. It gave us full confidence that we were in safe hands, even while walking on the edge of one of the tallest towers in the world.
Standing 116 storeys above the ground, leaning out over the edge with nothing but a harness—it’s an adrenaline rush like no other. The views are breathtaking, the air is crisp, and the feeling of being up there is simply surreal.
Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Toronto or locals looking to do something unforgettable. Thanks again, DJ, for making it such an epic memory! What an experience, what a unique opportunity! Fears overcome and Toronto seen from a completely new perspective. Absolutely thrilling!
The entire team and the processes are incredibly professional. Safety is definitely a top priority here! A once-in-a-lifetime experience not to be missed. You will not regret this experience!!! Its was more than worth it! The staff were professional, welcoming and flawless. Hurricane was our tour guide for the edge walk and he did an excellent job making us feel comfortable and capable of everything. I felt very safe and protected and everyone was very helpful and patient with the entire group.
If you want to do this alone! Do it! They will pair you with a group! Make sure you eat! The experience was 2hours in total. Also come cute there will be many photos and videos taken during the experience.
All in all I would definitely come back and I highly recommend this experience. It was incredible, thrilling and just perfect! I will never forget it! Thank you!!! Open now Highly rated derived:local_favorite format:viewpoint format:viewpoint

The Haunted Walk of Toronto
format:attraction Rating 4.8 1403 reviews A lantern-lit evening walking tour through Toronto's oldest streets — ghost stories, criminal history, and tales of the city's darker past told by guides who know how to make the shadows work. Routes cover Old Town, the Distillery District, and the waterfront. One of the best ways to understand the city's history while genuinely being unsettled by it. Runs year-round; book online in advance. Highly 4.8-star establishment with 1,403 reviews. Highly 4.8-star establishment with 1,403 reviews. 11 Gristmill Lane, Toronto, ON M5A 4R2, Canada +1 416-238-1473 http://www.hauntedwalk.com/ Joined the University of Toronto Tour on Halloween with Morgan as our storyteller. The stories were hair-raising and spooky - and a real treat for people like us who love scary stories, with a dash of history on the side. Morgan made sure that every time we stop, the spot is audible for everyone to hear clearly - and a big plus that she always pick the perfect eerie spot to complete the vibe. It was a good 75 minutes - but actually was longer since she gave ample time for everyone to take photos of the haunted door (no spoilers don’t worry!). The walking tour was a good mix of nature, buildings and city sceneries. My favourite part was when, after the tour, I asked Morgan if I can take a pic of The Haunted Walk pin so I can have a digital souvenir - and to my surprise she readily gave it to me . What a great Halloween treat! PS Morgan also had candies for us when we started the tour.
Excited to try out the other ghost tours soon! Bought 2 tickets for the Distillery tour on a whim because it was Halloween night and we had a blast.
The day of Halloween my Girlfriend and I had plans to host a party - no biggie except everybody cancelled on us. Girlfriend was sad so I wanted to have an awesome last minute date planned out for her. Distillery district sounded eerily spooky and fun given the setting. Bought tickets and had lovely meal before coming.
Our tour walk was awesome! I forgot the guide's name, maybe it was Charles or Chris? But he was incredibly nice and enthusiastic. We loved his energy and im happy for the memories I made on Halloween A lovely tour of the distillery district! It's a beautiful little chunk of history, my husband and I loved seeing all the old buildings and equipment. I loved the ghost stories and our guide was clearly passionate about the subjects she was talking about. Unfortunately I cannot remember her name for sure, but I believe it was Kate. We did the UofT tour. It was a weekday at 7:30 so only 2 people myself included but I did see that the 8pm tour had more people so we got lucky :) Our guide, Lucy, was lovely and so knowledgeable! The ghost stories were entertaining and spooky and was so cool to learn about the history of the university, too. Will definitely be taking more of their tours during the Halloween season. We had an incredible time on opening night of the "Ghosts of the Don Valley at Evergreen Brick Works" tour! Our guide Lauren is very professional and her storytelling is captivating. We learned so much history and mysteries about this area, even the rain didn't dampen our experience (it actually added to the spooky factor!) 👻 Open now Highly rated derived:iconic

Niagara Falls
format:locality One of the great natural spectacles on earth — 57 metres of water falling at 2,800 cubic metres per second, best seen from the Canadian side where the panoramic Horseshoe Falls fills your entire field of view. Take the Hornblower (formerly Maid of the Mist) boat ride for the full sensory experience: you pull on a red poncho and sail directly into the mist at the base of the falls. The Journey Behind the Falls tunnel is worth it too. Go in the evening for the light show, or in winter when the falls freeze at the edges and the crowds disappear entirely. Rebel
format:bar Rating 3.8 3702 reviews Price level 3 Toronto's largest and most spectacular nightclub, right on the waterfront — two floors, multiple rooms, a massive outdoor patio, and a production setup that rivals venues twice its size. Home to international headliners, sold-out electronic and hip-hop events, and the kind of nights that define a city's clubbing reputation. The indoor-outdoor flow in summer is unmatched anywhere in Toronto. Buy tickets in advance; major shows sell out fast. Highly 3.8-star bar with 3,702 reviews. Highly 3.8-star bar with 3,702 reviews. 11 Polson St First Floor, Toronto, ON M5A 1A4, Canada +1 416-469-5655 http://www.rebeltoronto.com/ Went here for special event for first time on Sun night/ early Mon morning. Place huge. The staff was nice and very helpful. Was warned to keep cell phone under guard at all times. Bathrooms were cleaned regularly. Taxi charges were alot but I negotiated my price cause I was paying cash so got better deal. Uber s were crazy expensive so not option. Didn't use coat check can't comment. Have no issues asking for water. When visit TO this will be my new Rave zone. A great place for a night out if you want good music, good service and a place to dance with an amazing vibe. It's spacious, has lots of different opportunities for different events, has multiple drink areas, has a GORGEOUS outdoor area to sit or smoke, food is delicious, the sound is great, the staff are very nice and helpful, the lights are beautiful and always different each time I'm there. Definitely worth checking out. Afterwards, if you look out across the water outside you can see the beautiful skyline of Toronto and the CN tower! There's usually a hotdog stand outside too with AMAZING hotdogs. I highly suggest trying that after too. Maybe I'm old but a lot of people are hating on the 50 Cent concert last weekend and I had a fabulous time 😂 Perhaps I just know what to expect from Rebel so I wasn't upset that he showed up late, I had a great time partying with my friends and can finally say I saw 50 Cent live! Really enjoyed the show, would go again in a heartbeat!
Singing along with 50 Cent to Many Men is a core memory I'll enjoy forever! I was the official Cinematographer for the concert. My first time from at the venue. The staffs are so nice and serious with their job. Thank you! And I hope another concert brings me in again. See you soon!! For booking @directorbicycle on Ig It’s one of the nicest clubs we’ve been to for sure, played a show with DKM there a while back and it was amazing overall. Staff is really nice, venue is great. Greenrooms are great to, there is actually not much to complain about tbh or maybe I haven’t seen it the time we were there. format:bar format:cocktail_bar cultural_style:nightlife format:activity format:bar format:cocktail_bar cultural_style:nightlife format:activity
